Job Description
Vulnerability Management
• Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive vulnerability management program.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and assessments using industry standard tools available in the Bank.
• Analyze scan results, prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity and risk, and develop remediation plans.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, server, application, and database teams to implement fixes and address vulnerabilities.
• Track and manage vulnerability remediation efforts, ensuring timely closure.
Develop and maintain a vulnerability database and reporting system.
Patch Management
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive patch management strategy for all systems.
• Implement and manage patch deployment processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of security updates.
• Monitor patch deployment status and troubleshoot any issues.
• Maintain accurate records of patch deployments and vulnerability remediation activities.
Security Best Practices
• Stay updated on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Advise on and implement security best practices for system hardening and configuration management across all teams.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
Collaboration and Communication
• Collaborate effectively with other security teams, IT operations, and development teams.
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactively identify and escalate potential security risks.
